Thank you all for a wonderful 2025.
This year Calon Taf saw music in the Bandstand, Bat Walks and Bug Walks, and an abundance of activities in our garden. With our sincere gratitude to our volunteer historians, we have held history talks ranging from our industrial past, rememberance, and local wildlife to the peformers and entertainers of Pontypridd. We've loved taking part in bigger events in the town- We've partied with Parti Bach Ponty, danced to the music of Pontypridd Brass Band Festival, and we joined in song when we welcomed back Gwyl Morfydd Owen.
We'd like to thank the Friends of Ynysangharad War Memorial Park and Happy Boots for growing our garden and greenhouse spaces into areas of resplendant beauty. Calon Taf has flourished due to the hard work and heart that our volunteers. We'd love to see new faces in the new year! Why not join our gardenign groups We have Friends Of on Wednesdays 10-12 and Happy Boots Fridays 11-1.
We're looking forward to 2026- a year that marks 100 years of the Bandstand. There is joy in reminiscing at this time of year, but we are so very excited at the things to come- keep an eye on our social media in the new year for more opportunities to learn, enjoy and celebrate Ynysangharad War Memorial Park's rich heritage!
